Tom Santoro sat down with a paper cup full of cold water he had taken out of the large thermos cooler.
He sat down on the otherwise empty home team bench at the Maple Avenue Middle School field that the Saratoga High boys soccer team is using for a home field this season, and gazed out on the sun-drenched field where his teammates were warming up for an off-day practice.
